SNAPSHOTS ON CORONA
Asmandar about everyday life in Syria
4. How has people’s everyday life changed due to the crisis?

People's lives are very limited by the Corona measures, so all gatherings have been banned. Schools and universities have also been closed and only the important markets remain open for people to buy food. The connections between the cities were cut. For many people it is hard to close their businesses because they have no other income and the state is economically unable to fund these people. It is part of our everyday life that families meet every day in the evening, drink mate and smoke shisha, which is not possible during this time. The students and pupils also have to study at home. So, Corona just made our everyday life difficult.
